found your thread – your email covers things you did, but nothing about "why Puma" or other simple questions we ask. seems like one sided, generic mass application. impressive background, but didn't seem like you care about what we're building.
1. I received a question about my schedule (meaning: no other questions asked), I answered and received no further response.
2. I applied using your own template {a note on what you're most proud of building and what you'd like to build next}. My application was absolutely not generic mass application
3. I sent you several things I’m proud of. Among them were:
- my open source contributions to p2p (torrent network) libraries. I did this because you have IPFS (which is p2p network) in browser.
Your application template does not contain "why Puma?" question, but spending my own time on these 2 things (local-first browser, p2p) and including them in the application was, I believe, a pretty clear answer to it.
try counting how many "I"/"my" you have even in just this comment compared to "team" or "Puma" or "users/customers".
instead of bumping the email thread you decide to put this all publicly. ok. but if you want to be pedantic, our HN post includes "what you'd like to build next?" which you conveniently skipped.
if you read our website, the application there includes "Why I’m interested to join Puma?".
you seem to care much more about being right than making progress or being helpful. i hope you change your approach since you clearly can build things.
I applied in February, included answers to your questions, my email was not generic - it was fully handwritten for your post, it only talked about things relevant to Puma, and included a CV. I received no response either.
Which of these two are not generic? There's dozens you spammed us and other startup founders with. Some are just empty emails with just CV. None were sent in Feb fyi.

doubtful you've found the right email, but it's ok - the extent to which you're repeatedly confused about basic facts shows I'd hate having someone like that decide about my ongoing employment.
Surprised they didn't port these to Mac yet. Between M series and Game Porting Toolkit (4 now?) it seems like small effort can unlock huge wave of new players nostalgic for childhood game.
You can't actually ship a game on the porting toolkit without breaching the license. It's intended by Apple to aid porting to use Mac's native APIs one component at a time, but the license forbids redistribution or commercial use. The community can hack away with it however they want because Apple isn't going to chase every individual person, but a business can't ship it unless they want a nice call with Apple's legal team.

He’s made terrible decisions since leaving Apple. I wonder if MIT/folks will now investigate his entire academic career as well.
What a way to throw away 25 years of hard work. Started off as a designer and worked his way up to VP. I’m sure we’ll hear from anonymous Apple employees about the nature of this person. Maybe he was pleasant to work with?

Eh, not a lawyer, but my experience with internet PR problems is that the Internet is pretty lazy with a short attention span.
Take something down and most of the Internet is too lazy to dig up an archive and they wander off to find something else to score internet points off of.
Reminds me of the (infamous) eBay sellers back in the days who collected perfect ratings for a couple of years just to suddenly turn into scammers, pulling off what was known as a "long con" or "exit scam."
Being spurned is one possible motivation, but so is an outstanding offer, where you go from middle of the pack performer with career stagnation to superstar leading the hot new product.

Awesome idea! Will try it out. Wish there was a way to enable low power on a per-app basis. Scrolling and reading on low power mode is really annoying.

Since you can control the low power mode setting from the command line: `sudo pmset -a lowpowermode 1`.
It should be pretty straightforward to hook this up to Hammerspoon[1] using hs.application.frontmostApplication() to apply the setting based on whatever foreground application you choose.
Thinking out loud, that being said, the necessity of sudo might make this slightly more complex. An always on background admin agent might be needed I suppose to bypass the password prompts (or add pmset to the sudoers file, if you prefer).
